Art Culinaire, sole distributor of Lacanche ranges in the USA, is pleased to announce the introduction of Lacanche hoods and backsplashes with pot rail. These wall-mounted handcrafted hoods are designed to harmonize with the aesthetics of the Classic and Moderne ranges and deliver optimal performance. Together as a set, range, and hood, makes a seamless statement drawing your eyes from floor to ceiling.
In the heritage of Lacanche Ranges, these hoods are built to last offering years of service and professional performance. They are designed with deliberate simplicity, making them timeless, and easy to operate and maintain. These hoods have been offered in France and other countries for decades and are used by respected chefs and cooking enthusiasts alike.
The hood canopies are made of a galvanized sheet metal frame for durability. They are powder coated to color match your range with the exception of noir brilliance (shiny black) or specific custom colors. The size of hood is built to encompass the complete ventilation capture area ideal for your range. The wrap-around fender at the bottom of hood is made of stainless steel. The duct covers, also made of stainless steel, are adjustable in height (from 2.5″ to 39 3/8″) and allow for the correct height for your ceiling. The duct covers can also be done in corresponding color to your hood body for an additional charge. Because they are wall mounted hoods, they will not work with a range island install. Please see our attached brochure for more information.

Range hoods add elegance and charm to kitchens, but they are also very important in regards to indoor air quality. When installed properly, they will aid in removing exhaust fumes, odors, irritants, condensation, and vaporized grease for safe and optimal air quality. Lacanche ranges must be installed underneath a canopy type exhaust system in accordance with the UL (Underwriters Laboratories) mandated ventilation guidelines.
